Optimist Lacrosse COVID -19 Update

No firm decision has been made by SEPYLA and PAGLA regarding the season. A few organizations have cancelled their programs, but the majority, including Optimist Lacrosse, are not giving up just yet. Under present expectations about the relaxation of social distancing rules, the “season” will most likely consist of several play days assuming that there are enough school district and township fields are available.   We are discussing with local programs setting up a summer league at all levels. At the very least, Optimist Lacrosse will offer an in-house league for players 3rd grade and up and intramural programs for grades 1-2. We will be rolling out over this weekend information on our Young Warrior Camps which will offer additional opportunities to satisfy your thirst for lacrosse. All of this depends whether fields will be available.

REFUNDS:  In the event that SEPYLA and PAGLA cancel what is left of the spring season, we will refund any registration fees. However, we ask that you take that refund as a credit on registration fees for our camps, summer programs, next year’s indoor and outdoor programs or as a donation. We realize that this crisis presents financial challenges for many so we will refund any registration fees if you need it less $5.00 for the banking and credit card fees that we incur for on-line registrations. As always, feel free to contact me at optimistlax@aol.com about this email.

Uniforms: Uniforms for the girls travel teams (Grades 3 and up) have been distributed to the coaches. The coaches have jerseys and shorts for those who ordered them. If your daughter does not receive one of these items it's because you did not order it. Please contact Optimistlax@aol.com if you have any questions.
